Bulk food items are prepared for distribution in Aleppo City. Since the WFP (World Food Program) scaled back it's food distribution in Aleppo due to lack of funds and faced with dangers in distribution, local charities have had to fill the gap, however it's merely a drop in the bucket.

Every Syrian delivered food baskets to needy families in Al Atareb, Aleppo in April 2014. A day earlier an airstrike by the Assad regime on the town center killed 27 people.
